The portfolio was originally developed for the purpose of overseeing the care of an elderly mother; accompanying her for numerous medical emergencies, for hospital admissions,family reviews and at doctor appointments. In addition, all vital signs were referenced by visiting nurses for home visits; allowing caregiver to keep abreast of her overall health condition. The “Personal Healthcare Portfolio” was first developed in 1992. Although original folders are still being used, all of the forms have been upgraded for the current version of the portfolio.

Meet Us
Esther Wyckoff
Founder & President
Esther's primary career was with IBM where she worked for twenty years; initially as a Secretary and then as a Purchasing Agent. She left IBM as a Sr. Buyer in order to manage operations of a co-owned motel in Burlington, Vermont. Thereupon, she also assisted her husband John with his counseling and payroll service businesses. In 1992, Esther created the Personal Healthcare Portfolio (PHP) while overseeing the health care of her elderly mother. After selling the VT businesses and moving to SC in 1996, she volunteered at a local hospital; working in the Social Services Department for ten years. During that time frame, she was also instrumental in establishing and serving on an Elders Committee at her church until moving to NC in 2006. After settling NC, Esther volunteered at a local nursing home for a time but then became involved selling on eBay to the present day. Of recent, she and husband has been involved updating her PHP and are very excited about marketing it.
John Wyckoff
Vice President
John graduated from Steven Institute of Technology and the University of Southern California before spending nearly thirty years with IBM as an electronic engineer and senior manager. Since retiring from IBM, John along with his wife Esther has owned a motel, business counseling business and payroll service. More recently, John has designed websites, set up online shopping sites and has operated his Retired What Now blog, YouTube account and podcast. John is not new to business and is excited about working with his wife marketing the Personal Healthcare Portfolio she created.
